1. Who processes the data

The site operator is independent author Tamaki Kumagai (the “author,” “we”). The site review-libreinfo.site is informational only: it explains LibreOffice and similar office suites, does not sell software, and is not affiliated with the developers. 2. What data we receive

Through the contact form you may send your name, email address, guide topic, and a description of the task. We use that information to reply and to agree on a paid review. We do not ask for a passport, payment cards on this site, or software installers. Server logs may briefly store an IP address, browser type, and request time. That is ordinary abuse protection, not a marketing profile.

3. Why the data is processed

The purposes are: to answer your message; to agree on the scope, timing, and price of a guide; to carry out that arrangement; and to comply with law if an official request arrives. We do not run bulk newsletters and we do not sell address lists. Short public notes on the site remain free and do not require an account.

4. Legal bases

Processing is based on your consent, confirmed by the checkbox on the form, and on the need to correspond in order to prepare a custom guide. You may withdraw consent by email. Withdrawal does not cancel work already started if both sides have begun it.

5. Retention

Requests are kept as long as needed to reply and to fulfill the arrangement, and no longer than 24 months after the last message unless the law requires a longer archive. On your request the text of a submission is deleted earlier if there is no legal reason to keep it.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal data. Transfer is possible only to the hosting provider and the email service that make the site and correspondence work, or to public authorities on a lawful demand.

7. Cookies and advertising

The site may use technical cookies needed for basic settings. If measurement or advertising systems are added later, including Google services, a separate notice will appear, and partners may set their own cookies to show ads and measure them. You may disable optional cookies in your browser and use Google’s ad personalization controls.

8. Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your request data, a correction, a restriction of processing, or deletion where the law allows. Send the request to the author’s email. We will reply within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

9. Children

The site is for adult readers choosing office software for study or work. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 and we do not offer them paid guides.

10. Security and limits

Mail and the form travel over ordinary web hosting. We do not host installers and we do not ask for license keys of third-party programs. Do not send passwords, access secrets, or files with other people’s personal data without their consent.

11. Policy changes

The current edition is published on this page and dated October 30, 2026. If the rules change in a material way, we will update the text here. Sending further requests after an update means you have read the new edition.
